DEATH ON DUVAL STREET
A Perry Savant Novel
When Brian Silver, the most popular female impersonator in Key West, is killed a half block off Duval Street during Fantasy Fest, the chief of police Fatima Sax calls upon Perry Savant to help her. The investigators found no clues at the crime scene except for a red boa that was wrapped around the neck of the murdered man.
Perry Savant, a retired NYPD chief of detectives, was now in a wheel chair suffering from the advanced stages of HIV/AIDS related complications. So, he calls upon his writer friend, Jay Morrison, to help him investigate and search for clues in the most unusual places. What the two discover is that there is a plethora of suspects with possible motives for murdering Silver.
Among the suspects are members of his band, several people in the "Gay" community, political leaders in Miami (Silver's hometown), and the leadership of one of the largest evangelical Christian churches in Miami. Just how Savant and Morrison solve the murder and expose the murderer at the end of the novel is exactly what will hold the reader's interest to the very end.
This novel will be available sometime in 2013.
